St. Ives Preschool

At St. Ives, Cool Seats became more than just outdoor furniture — they were a versatile tool for learning and play. Teachers used the seats to create a flexible outdoor classroom, where children could gather for group discussions, storytime, or lessons in nature. It became a centerpiece for education around environmental conservation.

Just as importantly, the seats became part of the play environment, offering safe, low platforms that encouraged climbing, exploring, and even getting muddy. Positioned near garden beds and natural play areas, the Cool Seats invited kids to interact with the earth — digging, splashing, and learning through hands-on, sensory experiences. It was the perfect blend of structure and freedom, supporting both cognitive development and messy, joyful discovery.
